Common Questions

How much does a mural cost in Utah?
Mural costs vary based on complexity, size, and surface texture. In Utah, professional large-scale murals typically range from $35 to $55+ per square foot. We provide transparent quotes tailored to your specific project needs in Salt Lake City and beyond.
Do I need a permit for an exterior mural in Salt Lake City?
It depends on the location and potential commercial messaging. Salt Lake City and Park City have specific ordinances regarding public art vs. signage. We assist clients in navigating these local regulations to ensure your mural is compliant and long-lasting.
How long does a mural project take to complete?
An average interior office wall usually takes 2-4 days. Larger exterior walls or complex realism pieces can take 2-4 weeks. We work efficiently to minimize disruption to your Utah business or home.
Do you use spray paint for indoor murals?
Yes, for most realism projects we use low-pressure, high-quality aerosol. For indoor spaces, we ensure proper ventilation and mask off all surrounding areas to protect your property. We can also use odorless water-based acrylics if ventilation is a major concern.
Can you paint on rough surfaces like brick or stucco?
Absolutely. Brick, cinder block, and stucco are excellent surfaces for murals. The texture often adds character to the piece. We prime and prep all surfaces to ensure the paint adheres correctly and lasts for years.
What is your design process like?
We start with a consultation to understand your vision. Then, we create a digital mockup of the design on a photo of your actual wall, so you can see exactly what the finished mural will look like before we even touch a spray can.
