SRIL ART Featured on HGTV
The challenge
As a featured specialist on HGTV's "Rock the Block" (Season 6), I collaborated with the season's winning team, Alison Victoria and Michel Smith Boyd, to anchor their ambitious "Refined Rustic" lower-level transformation. The challenge was to create a high-impact visual narrative for "Le Pickle", a world-first concept blending a private indoor pickleball court with a high-end wellness spa and sauna retreat. The mural needed to bridge the gap between classical "Old World" elegance and modern, disruptive sports culture within a tight, nationally televised production window.
The final work features a monumental aerosol realism portrait of a classical deity, subverted by the inclusion of a hyper-realistic pickleball paddle. Executed entirely freehand with specialized aerosol techniques, the mural serves as the centerpiece of a room featuring faux-hedge walls and “Le Pickle” neon branding.
This project, which contributed to the home’s winning appraisal, demonstrates SRIL ART’s ability to execute monumental scale luxury interiors that significantly elevate property value and align with the highest standards of national media design collaborations.
